this coming may i'm off to the philippines. yay! it's my uncle's wedding and i've been nominated as the best man. yay! i got no idea what a best man is supposed to do. boo! but to really make it a certainty it would be damn useful to have some $$ at least for the fuggin plane ticket hey.. which is why i've implemented the 'oberseas money' section on the right. it'll be updated weekly to show how much funds i've saved up or for you to poke fun at how miserably i'm doing (: funny how my pay is deposited into a 'savings account', there's no such thing! but between buying cd's, daggy clothes & food/transport there's gotta be sacrifices to be made.. hafta start packing lunch heh

yay i'm starting to dig r&b again. lately there's actually been some stuff out that i like but not necessarily worth listening to hehe. i was over the moon when i got a track id for a song that i'd heard at the cave a couple of times and in all those damn comps. ideal - whatever. napster is kind of divided on as to who the featured singer is.. some files say 'lil mo' and others 'rl from next'. i'd tend to think it's that rl dude.. i dunno.. but it's a nice song brings out the good vibes in everyone. got another mad tune that's pretty hard to find in mp3 and it's the el-b remix of pink - you make me sick. finding hard to find tracks = natural high! oh, and you must use audiognome from now on, screw crapster. weird setup but it does have resume functions.

i watched 'requiem for a dream' earlier today and man was it scary. it was even more disturbing than that one about the cannibal dude. shiet, while hannibal was stir frying brains and feeding it to the owner i was falling asleep in the cinema, but from the start of requiem i was already glued. the musical score really added to the atmosphere, and the camera work - the constant chopping and cutting between scenes was simply droolworthy. and for a subject that has been well trodden on in recent time, those technical aspects of a movie really help it stand out from the rest. drugs are bad, mmkay! and after seeing this you shouldn't even have to think twice about taking them, or you'll end up whoring yourself to feed your nasty habit. the interesting thing about this movie is that it puts prescription drugs on the same addiction level as heroin. you can go even further to say that being dependant on anything isn't good for ya.. but i won't because that would be too much thinking for one night#! i missed out a lot of shit there, but didn't want to go into too much detail, there's other sites for that .. but anyhoo i really did like this movie, best one since fight club.
