it was payday, so naturally i had to go visit the record store during my lunch break. before i even set foot in the shop i'd be mumbling under my breath "one record only, one record only." & as if my own ears didn't hear what was just said, i went on to pick up as many records possible to have a listen to. couldn't have picked a worse time to try & save money. fark my jaw literally dropped, i saw a bunch of classics! ended up buying; antonio + lee - freaky, jhelisa - friendly pressure (sunship remixes), tuff jam - underground frequencies vol. 2, somore - i refuse, nu-birth - anytime & cloud 9 - do you want me. okay, so that probably did not mean anything to anyone & chances are you've already clicked on the little x on the top right corner, but i just had to type it in to assure myself i actually did buy them. i am so broke - my phone just got disconnected, have to pay for a christmas party dinner, have to organise food & drink for party on sunday, & possibly going clubbing on the friday. yay for part time employment!

today was probably the real first taste of summer sydney's had. my worst fear turned to reality early in the morning when i hopped onto a crammed train, & standing next to me was mr. big perspiring guy. yeckk! & i mean it was really crowded, so much so you could tell what flavour chewing gum mr. big perspiring guy had. well thankfully, there are some things to look forward to in summer. ice skating, cold showers, swimming pools, moonlight cinemas, excuse to have more ice cream, excuse to have more lychee w/ decoco, & the christmas period (not forgetting the presents that go with it).

i find it hard to believe this site says i'm only a slight internet addict at 45% it was only last night that i stayed on until about 7 in the morning. the only reason i went to bed was because i was hungry & couldn't be bothered to prepare anything! question that i could relate to the most - 16. have you ever been late to school or work because you were online? . haha.

my phone was playing silly buggers today, it's decided not to turn itself on even after it's been fully recharged. in a way, i'm kind of glad - my phone bill is getting worse & no cash to pay it off. still waiting impatiently for that fat cheque from the a.t.o to arrive #$

really tired at the moment. man, especially after today i'm glad that my show's moving to a later timeslot. sleeping at 3 in the morning & having to wake up at 8 is not a very week-end thing to do.

a couple of weeks ago a friend asked me to find 'the platters' album on vinyl. the who? yeah i never heard of them at first, but they're responsible for 'only you' & 'smoke gets in your eyes'. it took ages to find, i went through all the 2nd hand stores i knew in the city without any luck. if you've ever been to those stores, most of their records are put in crates & not in any particular order so it takes a while to sift through it all. not so fun if you get an itchy nose easily! well i finally found it, & it's a great feeling. mission accomplished! :-D

by coincidence, i took a photo of the thing on the same day & had it developed before they came over. that's how it looks like close up, click to look even closer.

i am not a liar. i am just misunderstood. when i told the office i wasn't able to go into work in the afternoon because something urgent came up, what i meant was, i was too lazy to get up off my ass & drag myself all the way to the city, therefore i could not make it. there's this experience i'd like to share but it will have to wait until tomorrow. in the meantime, don't you hate it when you leave a wet towel on your bed the whole day & when it comes to going to bed, you're lying down & it feels like you've just pissed in your own bed. ahhaa, ehh.. exit stage left.

it's absolutely pouring outside. if it wasn't so cold i would be out there walking in the rain. i haven't done that since i was a little kid, stripped down to undies & all. it just seems like a fun thing to do. also, i haven't had a shower yet. yesterday upon coming home i saw that this huge branch from a tree fell on our porch & wrecked our pergola thing. i think that's what it's called. actually, i don't even know what a pergola is but the thing that we have at the front porch sounds like one. the point is, it's destroyed now & we have to be very careful when near the door in case a piece of timber falls on our head. also, in light of the hype surrounding harry potter in america.. this guy at work looks like him. he is like the asian version of harry potter, only much older. the funny thing is his name is harry too. if i had a picture of him i'd put it up in a second..

no monday-itis this week since i'm taking the day off for 'study'. it's going to take a miracle to pass the tax exam tomorrow, or a couple of thousand to bribe the teacher. i can finally listen to the dreem teem on radio 1! the computers at work can't stream music because of a firewall so it's a good thing i'm at home. oh man i want that track by the factory - do what you feel.

i feel like punching my computers head in. ie, the monitor. no matter how many times i reload an updated page & delete the cache about a billion times, it still insists on showing the old picture$%@. it is causing uneccessary stress #% also, i am starting to give up on counter-strike. i'd like to think that it is our crappy radioshack mouse that is the problem, but its my freakin reflexes. less than ten years to go & i'll be thirty :( speaking of old people, happy birthday for today philis!

mail-out days at work are exciting. i ditched class to go back to work & fold more envelopes. i refuse to sleep for fear of dreaming of flying envelopes. flying envelopes trying to paper cut your ass! but today i was in like an envelope folding zone. i didn't even talk or have that many breaks. just kept folding & folding & folding. yay for day off tomorrow :)

oh man, last friday was like the beginning & the end of my karaoke career. FULLY EMBARASSING. i don't know what came over me, but at least it was in front of strangers. let's just say i won't be in a rush to go back to triple 8 haha. happy birthday to you anyway chelle, if you're reading! well because of that, i overslept & totally missed my radio show in the morning. i got woken up at about quarter to 9 & started kicking myself for waking up late. guess i have to make up for it next week, but come next saturday i might not be on air.. i owe the station so much money! here's a quick plug anyway. swr 99.9fm. saturday. 9am-10am. exkluziv. so if you're in the blacktown, fairfield, holroyd area & wanna listen to some uk garage then tune right in. was voting day today too. i don't care who wins so i just went for those people who wanna legalise marijuana.

just came back from an advanced screening of 'the others' thanks to a lucky person winning free tickets. it's a ghost story in every true sense of the word - you definately need to watch it on the big screen, forget the dodgy bootleg your grandmother found on the internet! it was a bit slow to start off with, but for most of the time my hairs were standing on end & i kept getting chills hehee. probably had something to do with a someone next to me screaming her head off at just the right moments. there's another 'the' movie i wanna watch. it's called the score & it's got edward norton in it but not sure when it's coming out.. but def that one next. but for now, without sounding like a hoyts advertisment, go & see 'the others'! hint. guys, take ya girls they won't let go of you until long after it's over haha

not sure why my head hurt so much last night. that was the worse headache since well.. the other week after the 21st. but it didn't have anything to do with alcohol this time - i swear! so i decide to take some panadol hoping it would numb the pain for a while. stupid thing, i tried to swallow it but the tablet was too big, then it started to react in my mouth, started snapping, crackling & popping. turns out that it's the soluble kind that you let dissolve in water first. great! here's to a fast week. only five days until the week-end.
