now that christmas is out of the way - there's new years to look forward too. what exactly i'm gonna be up to is still up in the air coz some people can't bloody decide what to do!! on one hand we can go for a seafood buffet at rushcutters bay. although it's $55, there's views of the fireworks (supposedly) & we can sit there & it wouldn't be so crowded. option 2 is go to my friends house in pyrmont. we can create our own seafood buffet for half the price if everyone pitched in & we can just walk down to darling harbour when 12:00am comes around. then there's the bum at a friends house party & watch everything on the tv choice. food & drink is free & no going to the city & going back hassle! they all got their pros/cons, it's just up to everyone to agree on one thing now.

for some crazy ass reason virgin blue is offering $5 flights out of melbourne to sydney. fark. seroiusly.. 5 freakin dollars. 2 days ago i paid $5 dollars from circular quay to blacktown. fark! hopefully there's some tickets available!

has anyone else seen thir13een ghosts? talk about a crappy excuse to throw away millions of dollars. i decided to check out imdb to see it's rating - got pretty much what it deserves. what surprised me was some of the comments some users left. something about the brilliant acting & how it was one of the scariest movies they'd ever seen. so i figured they were either 12 year olds or people from the promotions team trying to give it some cred. btw merry christmas/happy day off to everyone. finally got presents for all the family at the very last possible minute, i didn't even have time to wrap them. my fave present was a turntable am/fm radio. it fuckin rules man & now i need another one!

i don't know why but compared to other years, i'm in a very christmas-y mood this time around. the fact that i have money to spend might have something to do with it .. that fat cheque from a.t.o came just in time! i even decided to buy christmas cards - having them all written is a different story though. what i meant by christmas-y mood is the whole act of giving to other people. yes to me it's just a big excuse to give & receive stuff from people. one thing i don't like though are those cheesy christmas carols & those boring shows that always seem to be on at this time! despite having gone shopping a couple of times this past week i'm off to do some more tomorrow/later this morning. i think i'm gonna be fux0red by the afternoon because it's almost 4:30 in the morning & haven't even had sleep (not counting sleeping on the bumpy bus ride back home).

so sick of food lately. went to the 'outback steakhouse' last night because one of my buddies is going overseas for a month or so. they had very australian names to go with their food. the nullabor. uluru. the bugger burger. it's something the crocodile hunter would probably endorse. personally i had the alice springs chicken (or something like that) - very yummy but i should have tried one of their steaks. then today i stuffed myself with chinese leaving no room for dessert. have a rest tomorrow then an all you can eat at the hilton the evening after. well.. i do need to gain some more weight after all!

i finally got to see 'the score' after constantly nagging people to see it with me. gotta say though, was kind of dissapointed - it seemed to go on forever and nothing really unfolds except in the last few minutes. but it's always exciting to see edward norton act. he is the man!! so far i've seen him in rounders, fight club & american history x & they all happen to be my favourite films. funny though i still haven't seen primal fear even though it's probably been shown on tv a million times & i've bought the people vs larry flynt video but haven't even watched it yet.

eek i don't know what's been going on these past few weeks. i guess i've been too busy even to go online. this saturday i went for lunch in the city since it was my friends birthday then had to rush back home to get ready for a 21st. the day after i went to do some volunteer work with the starlight foundation selling key rings & the like. it was actually pretty fun, except for the little kids that kept ruining the display haha. the rest of the afternoon was watching the movie then had to rush back home because it was my brother's birthday. even managed to find a present on the same day. now i have to put up with working 9-5 for the rest of the week :/

was watching the news last night, & big kev was on it because of a drink driving charge. when i think about it, he does look like the typical big drinker. the funniest part was when he got pulled up for an interview & told the reporter this was not a time to be excited. haha. eh, if you were aussie you'd get that one.

man this is not good news for the ripping groups.

daniel bedingfield doing an acoustic version of gotta get thru this. this guy is so wicked! he made the song in his bedroom armed with just a computer & a microphone - then he got a £400 000 record deal to release it through relentless. this is definately one of the best tracks of this year for me & i'll never forget it because it went to number 1 in the uk on my birthday.

i knew i was forgetting something every time i logged onto the computer! well it’s not so much that I don’t have anything to write about but finding the time to do it. my internet time has been limited to 15mins in the morning where i have to sit around & wait because i just missed the bus to work. it’s been a weird week – been trying to cope with being 21. my knees are making all sorts of cracking noises & it’s taking just that little bit longer to go up the stairs. argh!! i really should get back to work – i’m in the office after all!
